{"id":5656,"date":"2017-12-14T13:22:08","date_gmt":"2017-12-14T13:22:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gottwood.co.uk\/\/staging\/?p=5656"},"modified":"2017-12-14T13:22:08","modified_gmt":"2017-12-14T13:22:08","slug":"welcome-to-the-2018-lineup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gottwood.co.uk\/staging\/welcome-to-the-2018-lineup\/","title":{"rendered":"Welcome To The 2018 Lineup"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Family,We are excited to announce that we are welcoming some of the finest selectors in the world to Gottwood 2018.<\/p>\n<p>This year we welcome a host of new and faithful returning acts including <strong>Avalon Emerson, Ben UFO, Rodriguez Jr, Dominik Eulberg,<\/strong> the multifaceted <strong>Paul Woolford<\/strong> and his genre hopping alias <strong>Special Request,<\/strong> plus <strong>Andrew Weatherall<\/strong> who&#8217;ll play twice across the weekend, with a special Music Is Not For Everyone set inspired by his NTS show.<\/p>\n<p>Over the last three years we have taken the lawn stage from a DJ based affair to now more of a forward thinking live stage. On this stage, acts include <strong>Romare, Rival Consoles, Dark Sky, Weval, Africaine 808, Wolf Muller &amp; Niklas Wandt, Tenderlonious &amp; The 22archestra, Happy Meals, Febeuder<\/strong> and <strong>Ariwo<\/strong> all playing fully fledged live sets across the weekend.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Move D,<\/strong> who has played more sets at Gottwood than any other artist, returns along with the likes of <strong>Hunee, Palms Trax, Axel Boman, Felix Dickinson, Bufiman<\/strong> and Amsterdam&#8217;s master of off kilter and unpredictable party starting sets <strong>San Proper.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This year we have decided to take a stand against short sets and extend the length of as many sets as possible inviting DJ\u2019s to do what they are best at &#8211; digging deep within their bags. Manchester&#8217;s <strong>Mr Scruff<\/strong> has signed up for a long extended performance on the Lawn Stage as well as <strong>Shed<\/strong> on the Trigon and of course our close friend and man of the moment <strong>Craig Richards<\/strong> in the Walled Garden.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Margaret Dygas, Nicolas Lutz, Binh, Archie Hamilton, John Dimas, Job Jobse, Saoirse, Enzo Siragusa<\/strong> and <strong>Sonja Moonear<\/strong> will all be leading the way with their stripped back minimal sounds and grassroots headsy approach to partying.
